Here are the steps:
Before you begin, work over the area where you want to place your sink and make sure that the worktop surface has all the surfaces evened out from both back and front.
You may use pencil points or masking tape for reference.
- Place Sink on the worktop
Keep the sink on the working surface upside down.
Before placing the sink onto the surface, remove all attachments if they are attached to the sink.
- Take Measurements:
Measure the kitchen sink and work surface.
Calculate the dimension of the sink (don’t forget to check manual at this time).
- Mark lines
Now draw the lines around the sink as it is on the working surface using a pencil.
Make sure you do it right by rechecking the position and measuring marks.
Keep in mind that you are marking the lines at the base of the kitchen worktop.
- Cut the area
With the reference to marking lines, cut the area for the sink into a worktop.
Using any compatible cutting tool will make the process smoother.
Fix the tapes on the surface, it will secure and ease the process.
- Place the sink
Wipe off the worktop surface using a cloth.
Hold the sink with both hands and place it on a worktop. Take someone’s help for a perfect positioning in a single go.
- Secure with a glue
Secure the sink with the help of an adhesive or you can simply spread good quality glue on the surface.
Make sure to use a waterproof adhesive.
- Connect the water lines
Fix the kitchen taps and connect the attachments to them.
Add extra pipes and drainage system to the sink if required.
Let the adhesive material dry. Wait for sometime before turning on the water.
- Turn-on water supply
Connect the water hoses to the mains and check for improvements.
Undo the task where correction is needed.
