Steps to Replace a Kitchen Sink

1. Clear The Cabinet

• Clean the cabinet if things are placed under it.
• It will help in making the task smooth and easy.
• Place the utensils or extra stuff at a different spot.

2. Turn- Off Water Supply

• To avoid the mess and drainage., turn off the water supply
• Place a bucket under the leakage areas or a dripping tap.
• Remove the water left in the taps.

3. Disconnecting Pipes

• Disconnect all the water pipes from the sink with the help of an adjustable wrench.
• Open up the metal trap, water arm, Basket Stainer from the sink.
• The supply lines are connected, be careful while opening them all.

4. Take Out Garbage Disposal

• Remove the plug from the extension.
• Turn the power supply off to cut the electricity.
• Detach the disposal unit from the sink and disconnect all the additional linked appliances

5. Separate Screws And Tee

• Remove all integral parts of water pipes step by step to avoid confusion.
• Loosen and draw out screws and clamps.
• If they are made up of plastic you can use your hands otherwise use proper tools.
• Place the screws and additional tools together at a commonplace.

6. Remove Old Sink

• Lift the Sink from the countertop and place it somewhere safe.

7. Extra- Cleaning

• Clean off the faucet left behind with the help of Sandpaper.

8. Make -Measurements

• Take the essential measurements with the help of scale.
• Draw the required lines and points to remember calculations.

9. Install A New Sink

• Match dimensions and calculations to perfectly fit the Sink.
• Fit a New Sink in carefully.

10. Reconnecting Attachments

• Connect the screws, clamps, and additional attachments tightly.
• Fit them carefully with the help of a Wrench to prevent future drainage.
• Connect all the supplies and screws.
